Where did you go abroad and when did you go?
“I studied abroad at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Australia during the Fall 2017 semester”.
Why did you go abroad?
“I wanted to study abroad because I started to get an itch for travel, and I’ve always wanted to go to Australia because of Steve Irwin”.
What advice do you have to give to anyone who is thinking about going abroad?
“Leaving your friends and family for a semester can be a nerve-racking thing. You’re going to a completely new place with no one you really know. But the experience of living in a new country and learning their culture is something you may never get to experience in this capacity again. Throw in meeting people who will become some of the best friends you’ll ever have, and it turns into the trip of a lifetime. It sounds cliché but studying abroad was the best time of my life, and I would encourage anyone thinking about it to sign up and go”.
